The Priory Clothing, Footwear and Accessories Store
The Priory aims to provide a level of high quality clothing that won’t grow tired or stale in a market saturated by fads and the latest look.
“At The Priory, we are always striving to do better so the continuous professional development of our staff is a major priority. I am delighted that we have incorporated an Apprenticeship programme which will help us ensure that all our staff have the skills and the discipline we need to provide our customers with truly excellent service.”
The Bridlington retailer has partnered with Activfirst to provide both Customer Service and Business Administration Apprenticeship programmes to its staff. It wants to ensure that there is a solid training structure for all their team members and they have the right skills to progress further in their careers.
“As we are a small company, Activfirst provided details on accessing Age Grant funding to support the cost of our apprentices’ salaries. They work with us to ensure minimum disruption to business operations and we have a dedicated assessor who is available to contact for support and tailored progression.”
“Activfirst has been providing education support and guidance to staff and participants at Flying Futures since 2012. During that time, Activfirst has adapted well to the needs of our busy staff team, while still providing a high level of training and education. With the help of Activfirst we have been able to move individuals from participants on programme through to full time members of our team using the apprenticeship pathways offered.
The staff from Activfirst have been very professional and have worked well with our employees and participants over the years. We continue to work with Activfirst as our preferred provider of training and education.”

Activfirst has worked closely with Lincs Inspire over a number of years. It delivers high value content and quality support in a flexible manner – making it an incredibly easy company to work with and our training provider of choice.
Activfirst has provided Lincs Inspire with individual staff development programmes, apprenticeships at both an intermediate and advanced level in various skills sectors, and short programmes for those classed as NEET requiring assistance to get back into education or employment.
“I would not hesitate to recommend Activfirst as a training provider. Their combination of experience, practical advice and learning support will definitely add value to support your business needs as well as those of your employees.”
Tigers Trust has worked alongside Activfirst for a number years and in different professional education programmes.
They have been the education provider for all our apprentices, many of which have gained full time employment as a result.
The relationship between Tigers Trust and Activfirst has been a contributing factor to the successful progression of numerous young people who have passed through the doors in recent years and the enhanced CPD of our full time contracted staff.
Activfirst has supported us with the provision of qualifications to deliver our own education programmes and their ongoing assistance will always be valued at Tigers Trust.
